Unable to open up about herself to the very end, Poke's general state of being is washed-out and aloof. She is not one to experience unfamiliar things, feeling uncomfortable and just... off whenever she tries. Her exhaustion for life is her forever burden. Always stuck in the past, she is often seeking solitude in order to daydream about what-ifs.
She may seem like she is fuming and silently judging others due to her quiet nature, but her heart is quite soft in reality and she is usually too afraid to purposefully try and hurt the feelings of others. Her fear of loss and abandonment keeps her from cursing others away, but her habit of shrinking away from those close to her hinders her ability to nurture her preexisting relationships. She has a deep affection for those she is close to, though - even if she cannot show it outwardly.
Remembering all of her memories of her past life, she is tormented by some of them and is often overcome with unbearable grief. However, she holds onto a few precious ones desperately - as if they'd escape her grasp at any moment, leaving her with only the most melancholic.
Her feelings are always in a wily tug-of-war with each other. However, she genuinely just wants stillness and happiness - for everyone she knows. It's a secret, though.

Design/Writing Notes
- She towers over the average person. Check out this size chart for a quick approximation!
- Her tail is tied up with her sentimental ribbon accessory. It looks similar to a hair bun; her tail is long enough to drag on the ground when untied.
- Her ribbon has the words "Poke C." embroidered on one end.
- The sock marking on her right front leg is longer than the left.
- Her cream bold marking on her neck and the lighter markings coming from her shoulders end in half-diamonds.
- She has pointy ends to her eyes, sort of resembling eyelashes.
- She doesn't tend to interact with strangers! But if she is spending time in the conservatory, her companions are usually bound to be close by. These esk are #2726, #2762, #009, and #3636.

Her Boundary
A quaint, old house that has withstood the test of time lies on the Great Plains, and Poke's complicated relationship to it keeps her tethered there. For her, it only invites the earliest and some of the most unhappy of her memories, but her softest and most delicate ones all feature the weed patch she now resides in.
Said weed patch (once a cute little garden) is her true boundary. It is large for a young child, but just a little too cramped for such a imposing esk. Poke dislikes leaving its safe confines regardless.
Sprinkled around the dirt in her boundary, shards of glass and bits of wood can be seen if one squints. These are the remnants of small trinkets and decorations that seem to have been crafted by Poke's once human hands. She cannot bear to move any of them from where they lay, so her home will stay forever scattered - just like her.
Strangely enough, the weed patch and the immediate surrounding area are totally devoid of life other than the aforementioned plants. Poke gets defensive and reclusive upon being reminded of this fact. There's not much to see for many miles around her boundary past this dead zone other than grass and some sprinkled trees, along with a sizable dried lake near the house.

Relationships
Despite her quietness and standoffish nature, Poke isn't completely devoid of friends and acquaintances. Most of them are those who she had also known in her previous life - chance and fate bringing them all back together. However, it's difficult for her to maintain these preexisting relationships, being in a constant struggle of fear and the need for closeness.
She cares about them all, though, and every encounter has been a different sort of light in her life.

Although they had been incredibly close in life (with Poke affectionately calling him "Uncle Tex"), they now struggle with an extremely complicated relationship. It is distant and awkward due to tragic events happening near the end of their mortal lives, but it seems to be improving every day.
Once sharing a sibling-like relationship (with Poke affectionately referring to him as "Uncle Mac"), their current relationship can be quite on-and-off due to Poke's fear of loss. She wants to be in his presence, but is always given that nagging fear of reliving the same difficult events over and over again.
Poke treasures Blue as if she were her own sister, although the former's painful memories keep her from seeking the other out as often as they would have in the past. However, Poke feels safe around her regardless - is it Blue's gentleness, or just the fact that she's the only other girl? It's complicated.
